Your Questions Answered
Can cats really thrive on plant-based food?
Absolutely! Cats need specific nutrients, not specific ingredients. When all essential nutrients are provided through high-quality plant proteins plus added taurine, lysine, zinc, and biotin - along with omega-3 from sustainable microalgae instead of fish - cats can absolutely thrive on a plant-powered diet. What matters is meeting their nutritional requirements, not the source.

Will my cat get all necessary nutrients from vegan cat food?
Yes! This complete plant-based cat food provides 33% protein and 13% fat - exactly what cats need to thrive. Every essential nutrient is included, from taurine for heart health to omega fatty acids for coat shine. For extra nutrition, consider supplementing with algae-based omega-3 oil for additional vitamin D3, antioxidants, and DHA/EPA.

Why choose non-GMO plant-based cat food?
Most conventional pet foods contain GMO corn, soy, and wheat that's been treated with herbicides and pesticides. These chemicals accumulate in animal organs (commonly used in meat-based pet foods). Our plant-based formula uses only high-quality, non-GMO ingredients - giving your cat pure nutrition without harmful chemical residues.

Can I feed this to cats with urinary tract issues?
While wet food is typically recommended for urinary health, you can increase moisture by soaking this dry food in water or plant-based milk. This encourages higher water intake while maintaining the nutritional benefits of plant-based nutrition. Always consult your vet for specific health concerns.

Can this food be fed to kittens?
The protein level in this adult formula is balanced for cats over 12 months old. Kittens have a higher requirement of copper, zinc and DHA omega-3 for their growth as well as extra arachidonic acid. We have a specially formulated plant-based kitten food that meets these higher nutritional needs - Please consult your veterinarian for kitten nutrition recommendations.
